· Common camera angles used in the comedy genre include a Medium shot, Over the shoulder shots, two shots, close up, and long shots. These camera angles all contribute to films made in the comedy genre. · Common Mise En Scene used in comedy films include a soundtrack that is positive and upbeat, Brighter lighting to reflect the comedy aspect of the film (making it happier), costumes in comedy films consist of brighter colors and vibrancy, and props in comedy films are usually crazy, funny or silly. · Editing techniques in comedy films include, having the perfect timing of the scenes, editing as if the scene was not shot on one camera (using different clips from multiple cameras for the same scene), Cuts, and adding extra frames or trimming them. · Common sound found in comedy films includes, upbeat positive music, laughing sound effects, and dialogue between characters. · Examples of comedy films- Bad trip, Cruella, Coming 2 America, Moxie, Gostbuster: Afterlfe, Space Jam; A New Legacy, etc... · Elements in this genre that we like are the way this genre makes the audience feel. This genre is supposed to make the audience laugh and happy. Elements we would use would be the editing aspects of this genre. · Elements of this genre that are not appealing are the sound, with the genre we ended up choosing we would not be able to use the same types of sound used in comedy films.

the last step is peer review. Now that i finshed editing all i had to do was get feedback, and fix what needed to be fixed. teh first people that wastched was my group. Naturaly. Then i showed my parents. Then lastly my friends. And my friends parents. the reception was great. But i encourageed them to be more honest. There were some easy fixes. One of them was the score. It was a little lackluster. Becuase i never got the rights to the song i wanted to use it was a struggle. I had to look through royalty free music. BUt it all seemed so bland. Like an ad. not a movie.SO i went back and looked more. I decied that the score with the use of no sound. And diegetic noises i could create more emotion. I finshed up editing and showed them once again. Much better.

- For the thriller genre option, Shutter Island uses extremely wide shots to show where the film is taking place. They use wide shots to show multiple people walking at a certain time. The mid shot shows the character looking directly at you. The high angle shows them walking through the rain. The low level shows the contrast between the colors. Leonardo DiCaprio dresses in a detective outfit containing a trench coat and a tie. In this movie, Scorsese uses the dark lighting in the scene to symbolize the characters. The makeup in the film shutter island is mainly used to emphasize the expressions on their face. Major props to films that still use miniature models like this rather than purely CGI it up. The Dark Knight - A common camera camera angle used is a close up. Close ups like in the scene where the joker is being interogated, or when the detective is leaving the room. This shows emotion is the charcters. Another common angle used is the dutch tilt. THis creates a sense of uneasiness for the audience and foreshadows to what might happen next. Over the shoulders shots are commonly used to. They show equality between the charcter, adn even though they are fighting, they are equal to each other. The lighting used is dark, creating a menacing and dangerous mood symbolizing the jokers character to the audience. Batman was dressed in his superhero coastume which is all black to create fear, adn whn he was not wearing his batman costume, he was wearing a dark suit, to still keep the dar mood.
