Props: Props wise, for our music video to Kid Cudis pursuit of happiness the main prop we will use will be a car. We may After discussing our music video idea, we will not need many props, we will mainly be utilizing our surroundings in our locations. For one of the scenes, we decided we will film at the beach for this we would include a towel. Another scene will be filmed in a house for these scenes we will be using props such as a couch. Costumes: In our music video, there will be two main actors. For the scenes shot in the locations such as the car and house they will have on casual clothing. For the scene at the beach they will be in normal beach attire such as bathing suits. Schedule: On 11/9/21 we began the project and wrote our Intro and Group blogs and picked the song On 11/11/21 we reviewed the genre and the common features that were in similar videos On 11/15/21 we planned out our video and created our storyboard On 11/17/21 we will polish off all of the lighting, wardrobe, and technical issues On 12/3/21 we will film On 12/5/we will edit/ add finishing touches Location List Our main location area would be the beach we would film the beginning of the film at the beach to get the tone started. At the beach, we will be able to emphasize a good dialogue and create certain moods. we would film our two actors arguing and developing the journey to find happiness. The second location would be in the car. This will show the main actor driving and it will emphasize our actor's mood. This also signals how the actor is on a journey to find happiness. Also during the driving, the actor will go through different memories as he reaches different destinations. Backup plan If the weather is not good or to our liking, we will relocate to an area under a stable roof. This will help us be able to film if it's raining. also, we may be able to use the bad weather to create a more sad mood this would be something we would not be able to get from nice weather. If there is a member in our group absent for filming and acting we will swap positions being cameraman/ camera women so everyone will still be able to be in the film.

the last step is peer review. Now that i finshed editing all i had to do was get feedback, and fix what needed to be fixed. teh first people that wastched was my group. Naturaly. Then i showed my parents. Then lastly my friends. And my friends parents. the reception was great. But i encourageed them to be more honest. There were some easy fixes. One of them was the score. It was a little lackluster. Becuase i never got the rights to the song i wanted to use it was a struggle. I had to look through royalty free music. BUt it all seemed so bland. Like an ad. not a movie.SO i went back and looked more. I decied that the score with the use of no sound. And diegetic noises i could create more emotion. I finshed up editing and showed them once again. Much better.

Genre conventions: Shutter island

- For the thriller genre option, Shutter Island uses extremely wide shots to show where the film is taking place. They use wide shots to show multiple people walking at a certain time. The mid shot shows the character looking directly at you. The high angle shows them walking through the rain. The low level shows the contrast between the colors. Leonardo DiCaprio dresses in a detective outfit containing a trench coat and a tie. In this movie, Scorsese uses the dark lighting in the scene to symbolize the characters. The makeup in the film shutter island is mainly used to emphasize the expressions on their face. Major props to films that still use miniature models like this rather than purely CGI it up. Genre Conventions: The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight - A common camera camera angle used is a close up. Close ups like in the scene where the joker is being interogated, or when the detective is leaving the room. This shows emotion is the charcters. Another common angle used is the dutch tilt. THis creates a sense of uneasiness for the audience and foreshadows to what might happen next. Over the shoulders shots are commonly used to. They show equality between the charcter, adn even though they are fighting, they are equal to each other. The lighting used is dark, creating a menacing and dangerous mood symbolizing the jokers character to the audience. Batman was dressed in his superhero coastume which is all black to create fear, adn whn he was not wearing his batman costume, he was wearing a dark suit, to still keep the dar mood.
